This high-quality, carbon steel pan is excellent for searing as its thickness is uniform throughout the pan and allows for long pre-heating at high temperatures. The flat iron handle is firmly affixed with stainless-steel rivets. Thicknesses range from 3/32 in. (2.5 mm) to 1/8 in. (3 mm). Not dishwasher-safe. Season before using and store in a dry place to avoid oxidation.
